Lakes Course at Genoa Lakes Golf Club

The Lakes is one of two championship courses at Genoa Lakes Golf Club. The other course, the Resort, is a traditional links design that is different enough from the Lakes Course to make both worth a play. Both golf courses are lengthy, but the Lakes just slightly more so. As its name would imply, there is plenty of water to be found throughout. In contrast to the open, desert terrain of the Resort Course, the Lakes runs alongside the Carson River, spreading out across lush green meadows and rolling hills. Water comes into play on 14 holes. The layout also features undulating fairways and strategically placed bunkers. It's a golf course that calls for long, straight drives. Besides the challenging round, golfers will also enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding Sierra Nevada Mountains.
